Boarding Time

Recommended Posts

Show up around 11:00 am, you will be having lunch in the Windjammer by noon unless customs delays things. RCCL is just trying to spread out the arrivals.

Agree. We generally arrive around 10:30 and are usually eating lunch in the Windjammer by 11:30 or so....:)

As above. If everyone arrived at the same time it would be chaos!! Boarding 11 ish and having a leisurely lunch, checking out reservations for Chops and/or Portofino's, gentle stroll around the promenade - before you know it it'll be 1pm and they'll open the rooms!

They tell you 2pm in case as a CYA in case there are boarding delays (not common). That way if things don't start exactly at 11:30am, they don't have 3,000+ people standing around complaining "But you said we would be onboard by noon."
