Jewel cabin choice-Deck 8 Forward or Deck 5 Midship?

I'll be on the Jewel next month and can upgrade to an outside/oceanview cabin on either Deck 8, Forward or Deck 5 midship. Which would be a better choice? Is there any advantage to either?

Forward generally gets a bit more roll from the sea while the lower you are and more centered has the least roll. I chose 5064 and later NCL offered me an upgrade to deck 8 forward and I declined it for that reason.

I have never been on deck 8, but have been on deck 5 midship and we thought it was perfect. Even in 12-18 foot swells, we had no problems. It was also so convenient to get to everywhere as we were right around the corner from the elevators.
