kruznkanuk Posted October 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2008 We are in St Lucia on HAL's Noordam in a few short weeks (Dec 1st) and we dock in Castries 8 to 3 then sail to Soufriere to pick up passengers via tenders from 5 to 6. We have heard that the west coast is beautiful to sail along, and particularly coming in towards the Pitons by sea, along with a number of coves, beaches, and snorkelling sites. We would really like to avoid the bus tours and are looking for a boat trip that would start in Castries and end in Soufriere with some stops for swimming and snorkeling en route. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have suggestions or thoughts? Any companies that offer this kind of trip or that we should check with? Thanks for your help! Cruise prn Posted November 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2008 We took this HAL catamaran shore excursion when we were in St. Lucia early last week. The excursion included a catamaran ride down the coast, anchoring for awhile to swim, and then on to a land tour of the cocoa plantation. The coastline was beatiful. When swimming, watch out for the current - it's really strong. It was a great way to see St. Lucia. I recommend this excursion.
