Hotels in New Orleans

I recently booked a cruise that is leaving out of New Orleans on December 8, 2008. I’m hoping someone who is familiar with New Orleans can help me. We’re flying into New Orleans the previous afternoon and need a hotel for the night. I contacted Carnival; however all of their pre-cruise hotels are booked up. What I need to know is if there are other hotels in the area that will pick us up at the airport on the 7th and bring us to the hotel and then bring us to the ship the next day. Thanks for any help you can provide. –Laura

Thanks Kat. I booked a room at the Holiday Inn New Orleans - French Quarter on Royal Street. The reviews on Trip Advisor seemed decent enough. It looks like taxi's are the best way to go, so that's what we'll do. Thanks for your help.
