If the water is too rough on the West Side....go to Punta Sur

We were in Cozumel last week on the Disney Magic and the water was really rough where we docked at Punta Langosta pier. We rented a jeep and drove to Punta Sur on the southern tip of the island. After we parked at the lighthouse, they drove us in a double decker bus to the beach which is about a 20 minute ride. This was my first visit to the beach at Punta Sur, and is was great. The water was very calm, and the beach was beautiful. So if you arrive at Cozumel and rough seas are a problem on the Western side, head to Punta Sur.;)
