seashells08 Posted November 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2008 When exactly is the best time of year to save on the price of a cruise? Does it depend on location where you are sailing out of? I live in New York city which keeps airfare out of the equation saving money, but limited to warmer climates. Was on my first cruise this past July and could not get enough. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

It also depends where you're going. I didn't find South America cruises to be that much less after the New Year but I found that there were some really great deals going to Mexico and the Caribbean (esp. if you don't have to fly) and can sometimes go spur of the moment.
