Vacation Clubs and Cruise Deals ???

I have been asked to join a vacation club that claims to be able to get cruise rates at about half price and lower airfare. Has anyone else used vac. clubs to book cruises? Is all the hype true? Thanks for your input.

Haven't done it but, if it sounds too good to be true.....;)

My immediate question is, about half price of what? They may be basing that on brochure rates but no one pays those rates. Now if they said they had the lowest rates, that's a different story.

 

I still think your best bet is to book through a reputable TA, either online or a brick and mortar, or the cruise line itself.

Did they use the words, "half or what you are paying" or "less than half price". Most cruises dont sell for even half of full retail price. I would be very skeptical.
