Arcadia-Brisbane to Southampton.

We are booked for the Brisbane to Southampton part of the 2009 Arcadia Grand Voyage.

We have only done a couple of short cruise in the past and any advice/tips would be appreciated.

Will give you lots of tips :-)

 

We promise to leave the ship in good condition, we are doing the first two legs, Southampton to Singapore which presents the weight problem. We can take on board what we like, but are restricted by weight on our flight back. I guess you will have the same problem.

 

One bit of advice which I strongly give. Live every day and don't 'look forward to such and such place'

Yes we will be flying back so need to be careful re packing.

Am looking forward to the whole experience- not any particular part of- though some ports sound more attractive than others!

I thought you could leave your luggage onboard when you leave the ship on a world cruise and collect it (or pay a delivery company to do so) from Southampton the day the ship arrives home.

We considered doing this last year.
