Hello -

We think we are "sold" on taking the girls (11, 12) to Paradise Beach while in Cozumel....

A few questions....

1. Do they have hammocks (DH desperately would like a hammock) ?

2. how far is PB from the Pier ?

3. How do you get to PB - taxi ???? And how much (approx) is the cost ? How long does it take ?

4. I think cost is $10 per person for wristband.... is food reasonable ???

FINALLY -

What shopping in cozumel is good ???

thanks

2. how far is PB from the Pier ? I already answered this one

3. How do you get to PB - taxi ???? And how much (approx) is the cost ? How long does it take ? I already answered these as well

4. I think cost is $10 per person for wristband.... is food reasonable ???It will depend on what you think "reasonable" is. If you compare the prices to the other ala cart beach clubs, they are similar. Compared to a fast food place, PB is more expensive

FINALLY -

What shopping in cozumel is good ??? Los Cinco Soles, the main store in town which is 5 short blocks north of the Plaza

thanks

The "plaza" is located in the center of town directly across the street from the mainland ferry pier. No they do not dock cruise ships there, they do when there are alot of ships in port tender into the location. Cozumel is a very small island, really do not worry it would be hard to get lost.

It would help to say what cruise line you are sailing as that would indicate more or less which of the three piers you will dock.

Plaza: Public square in the center of town, site of traditional evening paseo or ``promenade.''

You don't need to know where the Plaza is, the taxi driver will know.
