Arrival at pier?

I know this has been asked about a thousand times already but the search option is temporarily down and I need some info. to schedule transportation.

What is the best time to plan to arrive at the Ft. Lauderdale pier if my ship is scheduled to sail at 4pm? We will staying at a hotel but will be meeting other family on board and hope to have lunch together.

Pick a meeting spot on the ship for noon and you won't go wrong. Actually they'll probably start letting passengers onboard before then, (11:30) but to make sure every one is where you want them to be, tell them noon. Pick a lounge area on the ship and just wait comfortably till everyone shows up and head to lunch. Have a great cruise.

I love the meeting in lounge idea. That's much better than a high traffic area and more comfortable also.

we have al;ways tried to get to the pier at about noon

Thank you both for replying, I think we are going to try to get there by 11;30 so hopefully we'll be able to meet up with family around noon.
