Payd Posted November 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2008 We will be overnighting in Miami prior to our cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. We have purchased the Carnival flyaweigh program which includes flights, accomodation and transfers. Does anyone know which hotel (s) Carnival uses for the overnight stays in Miami? By the way I did try this on the Florida Departures board and didn't get a useful response. TIA for your help!!
lynncafe Posted November 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2008 We also use fly aweigh program and got Hilton airport Miami for pre overnight stay. You can also check your e-doc it should confirm which hotel you would stay there.

Great idea...I checked the e-doc and it shows that the hotel and transfer arrangements will be included in the mailed documents. Too bad. Thanks for trying to point me in the right direction though:). How was the Hilton airport?
Froufie Posted November 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2008 When we asked Carnival this same question they advised this is the list they typically choose from: Miami Airport Hilton Hyatt Regency Crowne Plaza Wyndham Sheraton We were also told the hotels were only booked around 30 days in advance. Hope this helps!

Hope this helps! Thanks a million. We are also planning to rent a car, so it would be so cool if we were at a hotel like the Hilton that has Hertz right on site. Now I just can't wait to find out which hotel.

We stayed at the Miami Hilton Downtown Pre Cruise on Oct 25 and loved it! :) I would stay here again! Find out if the hotel charges a parking fee and if the fee includes In and out privileges. I'm hoping we can pick up the car early afternoon and return it very late that night. We will have to transfer to FLL first thing in the morning anyway.
