Platinum embarkation at Jacksonville & Ft. Lauderdale

Recommended Posts

We did Ft Lauderdale in January...VIP is a bit of a confusion...huge line to go into building...no signs anywhere. I left DH in line and went up to front to check at door. They said to come on up (got a few nasty looks on that!). Went thru security (xray). Then up escalator. No one there to let us know which way to go. There was a Table with VIP stuff...had to ask someone...they said I should have come up elevator. After getting

S & S cards...They kinda pointed in which way to go...I think...

Jacksonville, Oct 27th. Walked in, went thru security, went to VIP lounge for processing. 5-10 minute wait. Excorted to front of line to photos (looks here...as line was about 20-40 minutes long). Then on to ship.

Much better in Jacksonville.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Lisa. We used platinum at FLL 2 years ago and your rendition sounds about the same. Got our ss cards outside at a desk then no one really knew what to do after that. Then we were taken upstairs and waited in a private lounge with a wedding party. I would have thought they would have a VIP processing room like everyone else by now as VIP/platinum was just started back 2 years or so ago.
