What time to board?

My DH and I are taking our first cruise in 3 weeks out of Puerto Rico and I was wondering what time should we plan to head to the ship...We are arriving the day before.

It does depend on cruise line but generally the posted time is 1 pm. Typically it is earlier than this; maybe as early as 1130 am. In Puerto Rico if you embark at the Old San Juan pier you can embark and easily still go ashore for some further sightseeing. Not so easy to do if you embark at the Pan American pier. You might want to indicate what cruise line you are on and recent cruisers will respond specifically.

RCCL usually uses the Pan American pier but I am not certain on your sailing. Your cruise documents will say for sure or you have your TA find out or phone RCCl direct. You might also post your PR question(s) on the Puerto Rico Ports of Call forum elsewhere on CC
