Solstice speciality dining

Trying to book for 14th Dec sailing -the availability seems to be 10pm on all the speciality restaurants and was wondering does anyone know if we waited to book until after we board would we have much chance of getting earlier times -wondering if celebrity leaves some availability for booking on board.Thanks for any replies.:)

Not sure about their leaving availability for onboard, although I think they do that they hold some excursions to sell onboard under the presumption that not everyone has internet, so maybe you'll get lucky. Also, some people might cancel onboard if they see that their reservation conflicts with a favorite event, like the broadway show or the Captain's toast. I'd book the 10p.m. and then try to switch onboard. You will still have the option of canceling but at least you'll have a sure thing booked.

I believe they hold some reservations back to be booked on board. I was told this by a dining reservation agent, and confirmed when we sailed on the Solstice pre inaugural 11/10/08.
