Columbus tavern

We will be stopping in Nassau in early May. We are thinking of a restaurant with good food and a nice view for a leisurely lunch. Does anyone know anything about Columbus Tavern? How would we get there from the ship - how far is it from where the ship docks - is there anything of interest close to it for wandering around before/after lunch - does it have a nice view/relaxing atmosphere?
