Robin, I saw you post on another thread today and suddenly realized "Hey, I didn't keep track to see what Robin thought of her Volendam cruise in Australia/NZ!" So I went looking and found your thread -- thanks for taking the time, I really enjoyed reading it! Glad to hear you took care of "our" 7086 cabin (not so glad about the black mold thingie! Ewwww!), and that you enjoyed many of the same things we did on the ship last summer (Captain Bos, Randall Powell, among others).

 

This type of cruise is on our "bucket list" so I really enjoyed your report. :)

I thought of a question if you don't mind answering. Does anyone have any recollection on what the AUD/USD exchange rate was onboard? Does it fluctuate daily?

it fluctuates and i think they said it was based on The Bank of America exchange rate. I do know it was very competitive.

We only did New Zealand Dollars
