Has the Grandeur Been Refurbished?

I believe the Grandeur was in drydock in October.

 

Does anyone know if the "refurbishments" included new linens, carpet, draperies, etc.?

 

What about that sewage odor everyone posts about?

 

I've read on several posts that the Jr. Suites are clean but very worn and tattered. :eek:

 

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not sure if she's out yet. If you go to the Meet and Mingle Board and search for Grandeur 12/11, you will find lots of discussion about the refurb and a link to the Mobile drydock webcam that shows the ship. Don't remember if anyone mentions the dates, though.

The GOS is in New Orleans today for her first cruise since the refurb. During a refurb, the ships usually get a lot of cosmetic changes as well as any mechanical upgrades as needed.

Start looking for posts on the M & M board after this cruise for reports from people sailing this week. There's a thread for the Nov.6, 04 sailing that a friend of mine started, and I know they'll be chatting when they return next weekend.
