Noumea Shore Tour "the yellow Tchou Tchou Train"

I've seen a lot of posts talking about La petite train in noumea, Is this the same tour that P&O offers as the yellow Tchou Tchou train? or is it different. has anyone had any problems with the availability of getting on the train, with it being full up, or is there normally plenty of room on it:confused:

my son would love to do the tour, but p&o offers it at close to $60 and the petite train is around $20per person is that right?

Yes - you're right about the price difference! $59 with P&O and $20 from the operator at the cruise terminal in Noumea.

The only difference, I think, is that you don't get champagne or petit fours at the lookout on the $20 trip.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks, I thought it would be the same thing, and with 2 adults & 2 kids the shore tour price seems a little steep, considering the kids wont have the food provided & especially when i can just rock up and get all of us on for less than the price of 1 adult and 1 child
