Tour of Old San Juan

Does anybody know of a tour (not a walking tour) of Old San Juan, other than the tour offered by the cruise ship?

 

The day we will be in port in San Juan is 3 Kings Day and places like the distillery will be closed.

Has anyone gone on tour in San Juan with Victor Balbin. If so, what was your experience, and was it worth the price?

There are free trollies that go all over San juan. Just get on and off whenever you like. All the trolly stops are marked.

Sorry, I've been away from the boards for awhile. We toured with Victor last February and enjoyed it immensely. He was very personable, accomodating, knowledgeable and a great driver - eek, those side streets!

He sent us a great e-card for Christmas this year. We'd use him again in a heart beat. Give him our best.

There are a ton of local operators....just waiting....with Vans/Buses ready to go...that will be peddling tours around San Juan...right where you get off the ship....we've hoped in one before...and for something like $20/pp...they really will do a good job for you. We had a great time doing this. I know it seems a little skeptical...but we weren't concerned at all...and it was great and our guide couldn't have been any more professional, and experienced...and nice for that matter!
