Thanks so much for your report. I'm leaving Jan. 18 for the same trip with Vantage and as you can imagine I've seen all the negative reports from AZBob (who is on his trip now). Anyway, you've put my mind at east because we were just notified that we were being bused from Aswan to Abu Simbel as well. I have a question for you:

 

I have to decide within the next two weeks whether or not to sign up for the Philae Temple light show. Did you do it and was it worth it? Usually light shows are not my thing, I like things in their natural state, but this one involves a boat ride, and I'm a sucker for a boat ride! I would love hearing from you directly as we have traveled with Vantage before and I'm looking forward to this one.
