Port of Miami to MIA

We will need to get to MIA, from the PoM (NCL Jewel 12/21/08) and there is 6 of us plus luggage.

 

If we want to grab a taxi at the PoM, do they have taxi vans that all of us would fit into? If so, is the fare a flat $24 for all?

 

Because we have later flights, we could rent a car. But, Thrifty seems to be out of minivans for that day. Any other suggestions?

With just 6 of you. I'd go with 2 cabs. (About $25 per cab.)

There WILL be cab vans at the port, but not sure if you'd all fit plus luggage. Cabs will be cheaper and more efficient than any shuttle service. And you don't have to prearrange anything.

Just take your time off the ship and don't rush. Let the others who have early flights go after the first cabs.

Thanks, that just might be the way to go if I can't snag a cheap minivan rental.
