Princess Tiami Sail, Turtle and Beach Tour?

We did the Tiami Catamaran Turtle Encounter and Beach Tour with NCL in 2007 and it was a lot of fun. You get on the boat close to the port and sail down the coast to a spot where they anchor. They give you all the rum punch you want to drink on the ride. After snorkling for about an hour with the turtles, they sail inshore to the beach and drop a ramp that lets you walk off the boat onto the beach. They had a buffet lunch on the boat consisting of local dishes including flyingfish. They led a small group of us out to the reefs off the beach for more snorkling. Others enjoyed the beach. The snorkling was pretty good on the reefs. We sailed back and they provided more rum if you wanted it. It was one of the better excursions we have taken.

We did this tour mid Dec. 08 and loved the turtle part. Not to be believed, if you've never swam with hugh, colorful, very friendly turtles. Five of them on this day! The snorkel part was terrible, and we know this from doing this tour the yr. before, go figure! Still! if only for the turtles And the food, it was a thrill! A 30something cruises, cruiser! Have Fun!:p
