San Juan on Christmas Day

The trolley should be running, it will just be a little less frequent.

 

You will be able to find a taxi to the beach. Tourist areas will have something open....but not a lot.

 

Luckily, OSJ is pretty just to walk around and look at the views, art, architecture etc.

Puerto Rico has one of the longest Christmas seasons in the world, the peak and most cherished christmas holiday is the 3 Kings Day on January 6 (just like in Spain but here is bigger). Children expect gifts under the tree, thanks to the kings with their camels who "come and visit" , and adults have the biggest parties of the season, specially in the heartland.
