Bob and Deb Posted November 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2008 We have lived and worked, in St Thomas, in the tourism business for 20 years. Our December cruises are reserved for reading, relaxing, eating and drinking on the ship. However we do enjoy lunch ashore in order to sample any new cuisine. Bonaire is a mystery. Anyone with some restaraunt suggestions?

Nanatravel Posted November 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 24, 2008 Although I didn't dine there it seems like a good spot to check out: The Flying Fish. It is about a ten to 15 minute walk to the left of the cruise ship pier, following the shoreline. It is right across the street for a local marnina where the AquaSpace trimaran is docked. The Aquaspace was also a good 1 1/2 hour tour where you won't get wet nor have to be exposed to the bright sunlight. You might be interested in this different tour on Bonaire. http://www.aquaspace-bonaire.com, I believe is their web site.
