Monarch, OS staterooms

I am looking at the SO rooms on deck 9. on the Monarch. Does anyone know what the obstruction is that we would see. Is it the top or bottom of the life boats. Anyone sailed in these rooms.

Thank you.

I've had a Deck 9 cabin every time I've sailed on Monarch. The tops of the lifeboats are just below your window level which can partially obstruct your view looking down onto the water, but not looking straight out. And if there is an obstruction outside the window, it's usually a davit (a mechanical arm that holds a lifeboat) which might very minimally block your view. They aren't right up against the windows, but out a bit. You can see them well in this photo. (Deck 9 is the row of windows just above the tops of the lifeboats.)
