Mercury Sunset Verandas

The aft balcony has some drawbacks, noise when coming into port, bed is against the wall, motion, but am now sold on them! The views were wonderful, and we spent lots of time on our balcony. it's going to be a plus going through the canal as you'll be able to see what each side is seeing! Have a wonderful cruise!

Thanks for the info. I am very much sold on the aft balcony cabins (I love the large balconies!), but have never been in one with this layout. We have cabin 1161 which looks to have a very large balcony.

Kellyclayt, We will be in that same cabin next Nov. Be sure to post a picture and a review when you return. Have a great cruise.

Kellyclayt, We will be in 1163 next October on the 17 day repositioning cruise. Enjoy your cruise and please post a lot of pictures of the cabin. I am still a little concerned about access to the bed, but the pluses of the cabin will hopefully override my concerns.

You know, we always take tons of pictures at the ports and very few on the ship. We are telling ourselves that we are going to reverse this and take pictures inside. So, check back the first of March for our pictures.

Supposedly our rooms are like this one but on our deck the balconies are larger.

We are on the same cruise in cabin 1152. Hope the balcony is worth the strange bed layout. Seems folks either love it or hate it. I have just made final payment so no going back now :)

Yes - all cabins have refrigerators. You will love the Mercury!

turns out that we have switched to 1163 - can't wait!
