Family Christmas "Cruisin'" Tree tradition

Well--we put up our tree last night. It looks a little out of place since I haven't taken down all of our brown and orange Thanksgiving decor yet.

Anyway....

As we were decorating the tree last night, and unwrapping the ornaments, we all took a moment to reminisce over our cruise ornaments. DS would pick on up, and say, "Remember when we got this in Grand Cayman? Those turtles were so cool!" (It was a turtle ornament).

DD would pick one up, and say, "Mom, where is this one from?" and I would have to look at what I had written on the back of the ornament to remember where we got it and when.

Does anyone else find themselves having moments like that?

Same here! :D

That's why I was gone all day yesterday. We put up all of our decorations. On the tree with all of the other ornaments we have from over the years we have:

--A tiny Carnival Elation ship

--One RCI Freedom ship

--Santa riding a dolphin (Bahamas)

--Captain Mickey from Disney Wonder

--A gold CCL Sensation

--Santa riding a seahorse (Cozumel)

--A Wilderness Lodge bear (precruise)

I can't wait to pick up some on our next cruise. :D
