novaten Posted November 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2008 Maybe this is a simple question, but I just came back from a wonderful cruise with my family and we all live in different states. We want to post all of our pictures to one place and then make copies of then ones we want or just look at them etc. Should I set up a new email account with gmail and have everyone download to Picassa- is that possible? Any other thoughts?? Thanks in advance!
TheRoff Posted November 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2008 You could certainly set up an account at Picasa, and I don’t think you need to have a G-mail account to do so. (I don’t use G-mail and have photos up at Picasa.) There are also many many other sites that you could use. Webshots and Photobucket are two and I am sure others here will direct you to more. http://www.webshots.com/ http://photobucket.com/?link=topmenu
CabinForFour Posted November 30, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2008 Check out Shutterfly's collections. Go to Shutterfly.com and then click the Share tab at the top. Everyone in your group can post pictures to the same place, and you can even create a forum/message board and other fun things for people to leave their favorite memories, etc. It's free and unlimited storage. I've used for Alaska and Hawaii cruises with family, and everyone has been able to share, view and order from the same site.
