Paying for parking w/ cc

I plan on parking at Port Everglades during my 7-day cruise, my travel agent said many parking lots at or near ports do not take credit cards (sounds archaic to me). My question -- Does anybody know if the parking structures at Port Everglades take credit cards? Do I need to have that extra wad of cash just to pay for parking?
