Star VS: Golden Princess

Can anyone tell me what the advantages and disadvantages are of each ship on a cruise to Alaska. I plan to go to Alaska next summer and need help deciding which ship to book.

Basically they are the same; they are sister ships. Now the Star just recently on her last drydock installed MUTS, the International Cafe and Vine. This will be done on the Golden next April so in fact the ships will be the same next summer when you are in alaska. They go the same route but I think on different days. So just check out what day they leave Seattle and when they return.
