Storing Cruiseship Webcam Photos

A while ago Flickr deleted my collection of about 30,000 cruise ship webcam photos.

 

I mentioned this to you guys on one of the threads last week.

 

It was disappointing. I'll never get some of those pictures back, but I've worked around this obstacle, and written my own cruisecam photo database. This means that the facility to save cruisecam photos in ShipWatcher is working again, but now it's handling the saved photos internally rather than uploading them to Flickr.

 

It's taken me hours to do, but it was fun, and also comforting knowing that some ignorant technocrat won't be able to delete my stuff without warning.

 

So if any of you try out the new facility please let me know if there's any way I can improve it.

Still a bugger about what flickr did. Being very cautious about anything to do with Yahoo at the moment :rolleyes:
