can anyone tell me how much a taxi would be from port to the ruins, and then from ruins to paradise beach or mr sanchos? Also at mr sanchos - if you do not do the all inclusive, how much is it to use kayaks, snorkleing equipment, loung chair, etc...? Thanks for any info!

Hi Joy, I answered your Mr. Sancho's question in your last post...it's about 1/3 of the way down this page. The $40 all inclusive includes snorkeling equipment, lounge chairs and kayaks.

Not sure about Mr. Sanchos, but there are plenty of free beaches you can go to. We rented a jeep for 75 dollars and toured the ruins on our own then hit paradise beach for the kids, it was nice, food was good, but we would go to a quiter beach without them. They dont charge an entrance fee or to use their chairs, just have to purchase some food and beverage. Water toys are extra. I think it would cost 15 bucks to a beach, not sure what the cost would be to the ruins. Here is a list of beaches:

Hey Joy, sorry about that...i missed that all important word 'NOT' in your initial post. :o I know they charge $10 pp for the use of the lounge chairs, but I don't know if that's waived if you eat &/or drink $10 per person. The other stuff (snorkeling, kayaks, etc.) costs extra...but I don't know what price since I can't find it listed anywhere. The taxi from the pier to Mr. Sanchos is $14 for up to 4 people...but I heard they were going to increase cab fares by 20% as of December 1...so it could be more like $16 now.
