sappygirl Posted December 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2008 We're going on our first cruise in February and looking for recommendations for excursions when we're in Grand Cayman. Can you give me your top 3 excursions (either through the cruise line or on your own) Thanks for the help!! DH did stingray tour through cruise line and loved it. Most people tend to go to 7 mile beach for a beach day. If you want to snorkle Eden Rock is a very good spot I hear and it's right next to the pier. Also know that Grand Cayman is one the most missed ports because they have to tender there. If the water is rough they will not dock. Hope this info helps. Caribbean Sunsets Posted December 9, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 9, 2008 I have only been to GC once and that was about two weeks ago (11/25). My group did the Stingray, Reef and Rum Point Beach Tour through Nativeway. It's about 5 hours. They will pick up at the pier. The cost is about $62 pp. There was no issue with getting back in time. The tour started with a stop at a reef about a half mile or so from the stingray stop. Then on to the stingrays which was amazing IMO and then off to Rum Point Beach. Our guide gave us menus to select our lunch choices from, called in the order and was served shortly after arriving. We had about 1.5 hours at Rum Point where the water was calm and the beach was beautiful. I enjoyed the day and highly recommend Nativeway. Have fun!
