Fort Lauderdale Hotel

I am looking for a hotel that is oceanfront and has a shuttle from airport and to Port Everglade or that is very close to the port so taxi would not cost too much.

There's only 4 hotels in Ft Lauderdale that are truly 'oceanfront'. The Lago Mar (closest to the port), Marriott Harbor Beach, Sheraton Yankee Clipper and Pelican Beach. None offer shuttles. The rest are across the street from the ocean, they do not offer shuttles either.

I am looking for a hotel that is oceanfront and has a shuttle from airport and to Port Everglade or that is very close to the port so taxi would not cost too much.

 

We stayed at the Marriott Harbour Beach for a couple of nights recently (Nov. 27/28) prior to our cruise. This is a very nice hotel and is close to the water taxi and a sun trolley stop.

 

While there is not a shuttle, the taxi to the port was fairly reasonable.

 

We also stayed at the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach. This is across the street from the beach and is close to many cafes and restaurants . It is about a mile north of the Marriott.
