Port Canaveral Policy on B2B Passengers

Can anyone share what the policy is at Port Canaveral for B2B passengers? Do those passengers have to get off the ship or are they permitted to remain on-board on the turn around day? We will be on FOS July 09 and were just curious as each port varies with their policies.

Last February, we met with the other B2Bers in a lounge and were walked through customs, just a few steps into the terminal, by a ship's officer. There was a brief wait for the last of the departing passengers and crew to leave the ship and we were allowed to reboard. It only took about 20 minutes and we were back on the ship. It was about 10:00 am, just three dozen passengers and the crew onboard. Blissful! Just know that in spite of what our steward said, there were people on the corridor doors to keep us out of our cabin until 2:00. So wear your bathing suits and take whatever you want to fill in all that quiet time. :D

em, thank you for the info. It looks like you'll be doing a B2B soon on AOS :) Your turnaround day will be wonderful...you will not have to get off the ship at all. All you will have to do is go to Guest Relations on Sunday morning, anytime that's good for you, and get your new sea pass card. That's it! :) I understand each port varies, but we loved San Juan because we didn't have to get off the ship. Have fun!! :)

Thank you, that's good to know! We're thinking of staying onboard until the new people start to show up and interrupt the quiet. Then we may go into Old San Juan for a few hours as we love to walk there. But then we may be lazy and stay put. :)
