On NCL's site-How come it looks like the stairs midship go from deck 14 to deck 6 and then are shown again on deck 4? What happened to deck 5?

It looks like the entrance to the Summer Palace is on deck 6 but can you get to it on deck 6 from the front of the ship? On which deck do you enter the Stardust?

I know I'll find all this out once on the ship, but heck planning is half the fun :D

Hmmm...I see your point. But there are, in fact, stairs to deck 5 at the fore and midship positions across from the elevators noted on the deck 5 plan.

That's kind of tricky. As I recall, the only way to get to the Summer Palace is by going down the stairs from deck 7. Thus, you can't get from Inidigo to Summer Palace (both on deck 6) without going up to deck 7. Weird.

I always entered on deck 7, but there ~might~ be other entrances.

The Summer Palace has a two-story ceiling. You normally enter opposite the aft Deck 7 elevators. That is where you check in and then walk down the "grand staircase". There is an elevator that only goes from Deck 7 to Deck 6 there, for wheel chairs and scooters. Once out of that elevator on Deck 6, you can go in to the Summer Palace on the main floor of the restaurant.
