BayCalif-Ariz R Us Posted December 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 20, 2008 We want to privately book as good a tour as we can of the WWII sites when we dock at Le Havre. Prefer a group of no more than 6. Can anyone suggest good local tour groups? Thanks - Denise

EGG Posted December 20, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 20, 2008 We did a private tour last year. The name of the tour guide and his contact info is in my review. http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=43756
Sandy R Posted December 20, 2008 #6 Share Posted December 20, 2008 A few years ago, 4 of us did a tour with a charming guide that lives in the area. She gave us a wonderful tour... all the WWII sites and a stop at a seaside town, as well, where we picked up some French wine to take back to the ship. I had read about the Bayeau Tapestries, which was on the way, and we stopped there, too... amazing. Her e-mail is: anne-marie.leblic@wanadoo.fr We still exchange holiday greetings...
