Maybe you can help me. we are traveling to cocoa beach the nite before our cruise may 31st. i found a good deal for howard johnson. and you can park and ride to the ship. can you give me an idea of the hotel. were just trying to save money so we can have in on the cruise so we dont want to spend alot on a hotel.

Jenn - I'm not really familiar with the Howard Johnson in Cocoa Beach. I know we've driven past it, but I couldn't tell you anything about it. We've stayed at the Inn at Cocoa Beach before a cruise.

Howard Johnson Hotels have a good reputation and we've stayed at them around the country without any complaints. If you can leave your car at the hotel, that will save you $10 per day in parking costs at the pier that you can spend on your cruise. If I were you, I'd go for it! Have a great cruise! Hope you dont mind me butting in again,but Jenn,I'm gonna put a link to this thread in our Florida thread............several people on there live in that area.........

Not that I doubting OC's word(after all ,she is my buddy and is ever so wise),but the others have helped me alot when choosing a hotel in the area...

thank you for your help. im just wanting to make sure its a pretty good hotel and my vehicle will be ok. i was hoping i would be moved to jax before the cruise and could just drive down but now i have to drive from my parents home in ga . and im having to scramble to find a hotel. also does anyone know whick hotels hotwire uses for cocoa beach i found one that was really good deal.

THe Howard JOhnson is an older hotel but it is decent.. Have not stayed there but knew someone who did.. It will do in a pinch.. They do offer park and ride the shuttle leaves at around 11:30 and costs about $3.00 a person but you have to let them know in advance of your arrival so they can call and make a reservation for the shuttle They will let you leave your car 5here for the cruise free. Hope this helps...
