sjbdtz Posted December 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 22, 2008 Called CAS to see if my existing booking would qualify for OBC in the current sale, and was told yes... $25 p.p. ($50 total) would qualify. Also, the agent advised...unprompted....the fuel surcharge is removed, and your cabin fare has dropped.... I saved $500 (20%) of my balance, because I phoned to see if I could get an OBC (and I got a 2% obc too! :)) Oh happy day! So :p to people who criticize them (unless they legitimately screwed up)
egurbi Posted December 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2008 That's through a booking with Casinos at Seas, correct? Question -- had you paid in full for the booking already -- or do you know if it would have mattered if you had for purposes of getting the OBC and reduction in price? TIA

Question -- had you paid in full for the booking already -- or do you know if it would have mattered if you had for purposes of getting the OBC and reduction in price? TIA I had not paid in full, my final payment isn't due until July '09. I'm fairly sure that post-final-payment I may not have had the same good fortune....but what I found most interesting about this call was: a) that I got OBC which is ostensibly for new bookings, despite the fact that I had an existing booking b) that they offered the lower price, without me needing to ask about it. egurbi Posted December 22, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 22, 2008 Thanks for the reply. Worth a shot I think. All they can say is no.
