gargoyle999 Posted December 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2008 We have booked an excursion with David & Ivan for the Chacchoben Ruins in Feb. The email confirmation they sent had instructions to get there taking the transportation at the port or by walking. Just wondering how the walk is for anyone who has done it. wolfcathorse Posted December 23, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 23, 2008 It would be quite a hike in possibly hot weather. It's about a 5 minute van ride costing $3 pp each way. Plus there are no signs telling you which street to turn down to get to Majahual. The town is 3 miles from the port, so you're looking at a 40 minute walk at least on foot. jcjky Posted December 23, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 23, 2008 Yes they are an easy walk from the port now. They use to be in town. Should be about ten minutes once your out of the port.
