sunshine4us3 Posted December 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 24, 2008 I should have covered this in my review and didn't, sorry. I am also trying to get the capers fixed but I am having a major issue with my internet connection and my scanner/printer. The Destiny had a sandwich shop that opens around 11am and closes around 11pm. They have a Chinese shop which is opposite the sandwich shop on the starboard side of the ship, it has more limited hours like being open just around lunch. Then you have the grill on the starboard side near the lido pool which is also open at lunch which had chicken fingers, onion rings, hamburgers, hot dogs french fries etc....it was open everyday. The Lido buffet is VERY good. Give it a try, I think you will find they have something you want. There is also the pizza option, and the pizza was pretty good. There is a coffee bar which has awesome pastries, but you have to pay for them with the s&s card so they are extra. Hope this helps!
GoinCruisin Posted December 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 24, 2008 We found the hours more limited for the deli.... but the capers will have it listed. Also, before dinner sushi will be available right outside the casino, don't miss it :D The cakes and pastries are really cheap (like a couple bucks for a HUGE piece of delicious carrot cake :)) You cannot beat the prices!!! So if you want something sweet, it it a great place to start! Room service of course... the menu has changed slightly... very good still, they have made some additions (but no more brownies and cookies), but now I think you can get a reuben... plenty of options!! :)
