FIRE CHIEF BUBBA Posted December 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 24, 2008 Maybe one of the t/a can answer this?? Have not been able to cruise past 3yrs but we are ready to get back into it full speed. My question is?? For all but two of the cruises I booked direct on board ship or with the cruise line. For the other 2 times and for a couple of week long island stay's I used a t/a. This time I used a t/a to line up our trip as we are linking with some other couples. Some will be thier 1st cruise. We booked pre stay hotel ..air and post stay. It seems in past we had are cruise package about 80 days before cruise.. I booked air myself..this time the t/a is saying travel is so diff that royal may not have our air flight locked in for about 40 days before we sail?? Can this be? Happy holidays...63 days and sun warm sun..;)
cb at sea Posted December 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 24, 2008 It's true--they generally don't give you your air itinerary until about 30 days out. And there won't be real "tickets"--everything is electronic now!
elleluv Posted December 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 24, 2008 That's right... the last client I had that used cruise air got their flight information about 3 weeks prior to their cruise.
