Hotel Foscari Palace, Venice...

Just booked the Hotel Foscari Palace for 2 nights pre-cruise in October. Looks great for the price, convenient to vaporetto and traghetto and right on the Grand Canal.

 

Of those of you who have sayed here before, any advice... tips... local restaurant recommendations? Is the rooftop terrace open in mid-October?

Great place!. Ask for a room with view of the canal.Walk to Rialto bridge area. Eat at something Maddona restaurant there.. a Major boat stop is nearby. enjoy.
