dablondebabe Posted December 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2008 Will be in Grand Cayman in Feb. Plan to do some snorkeling and would like to know who is recommended. The more fish the better!!! Thanks
bruce-r Posted December 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 26, 2008 If you want to snorkel from shore, you can easily just walk to Eden Rock. It will be free if you have your own gear, or you can rent it from either of the two nearby dive shops.
funinthesun86 Posted December 26, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 26, 2008 I second the recommendation for Eden Rock. I love snorkeling there.
hkolln Posted December 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2008 We used Nativeways for our last cruise and rebooked for our upcoming March cruise in 2009. They were very nice and professional. They have snorkeling tours or snorkeling/stingray tours. Or like the previous poster said go to Eden Rock. I hear that's a good place too.
Conwaycruiser Posted December 28, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Speaking of snorkeling, does anybody have any idea what the water temp is in late Feb?
bruce-r Posted December 28, 2008 #6 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Speaking of snorkeling, does anybody have any idea what the water temp is in late Feb? I'd expect around 80 =/- a degree or two.

Chiefie Posted January 1, 2009 #8 Share Posted January 1, 2009 If I snorkel at Eden Rock... is there a place where my wife, who does not snorkel, can lounge, tan... "hang out"?
