Leaving the ship in the early morning and horseback riding

Hello,

 

I am taking a 5 day cruise to Bermuda and I am interested in horseback riding with Spicelands Riding Centre during sunrise.

 

I have a few questions:

 

1- Has anyone gone horseback riding with Spicelands Riding Centre before while crusing with Royal Caribbean? Was it easy to get there from the ship?

 

2- Is it even possible to get off the ship that early in the morning and get there before sunrise?

No one is allowed off the ship until it clears local customs. If you dock the day before, you should be able to get off but if you dock that day I would have to say no. Is this offered as a ship's excursion?

If your ship is staying in Bermuda overnight, and you book it for the 2nd morning, you can come and go at will. Once the ship is cleared when you dock, then you're free to come and go whenever, until the ship leaves that port.

Our ship will be in King's Wharf for two days, so I figured we could go the second day the ship is in port. It's not offered as a shore excursion, but I really love horseback riding and I read that during the early morning rides you can ride on the beach!
