Suite AB 11030

Wondering if Suite AB category is sufficient for 2 adults + 1 senior citizen + 1 child (9 years old)? Concerned that the additional bedroom will not be sufficient for the senior and child. Can the sofa in the living room be used for the child? Thanks!!:o

The AB should be perfect if the grandparent and child stay in the small bedroom. There is a double bed, well almost and an upper berth. Thinking the child would sleep in the upper. The sofa does not open and it it not large enough for someone to sleep on. The bed in the small inside room is not very comfortable, so ask the cabin stewart for additonal padding, can't sleep in there without it.

We have stayed in ABs at least 5 times on differnt ships and all were the same..

Take it and enjoy.

What ship are you thinking about?

If it is the Dawn, Star, Gem, Jewel, Pearl, or the Jade, YES!!! an AB will be PERFECT for your needs.....icon14.gif

We have stayed in an AB on the Dawn three times with two teenage girls and is worked VERY well.....:)

Your Senior Citizen can sleep on the pull-out sofa bed, the child can sleep on the pull-down bunk.

Here is a link to some excellent pictures of an AB:

You will see a picture of the second bedroom with the sofa a sofa and as a bed.

The room is quite small, but, it is fine for sleeping and the extra living/dining space makes up for it.:)

ENJOY......!!!:D

We were on the Dawn in AB 11030 twice. One time with our kids and the other with 2 friends. The small bedroom will be fine for an adult and a child in my opinion. As others said, the couch in the small bedroom becomes a double bed and there is a pulldown bed.

just had this room last week with 2 adults + 1 senior + two kids (14 & 12). one kid slept on the sofa which converts to twin bed and the senior and other child slept in guest room, which worked out well for us. it our third year in this type of room with 5 and it has always been comfortable. best feature is the two bathrooms
