KFL Posted January 3, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 3, 2009 CHeck out the off airport parking, some have cheaper rates & provide transportation to the dock. I can't find the names that I researched 18 months ago but they were in the $7 to $8 range with some online discounts.
purplefan01 Posted January 3, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 3, 2009 You can find cheaper places, IF you don't mind your car being packed in like a sardine and others possibly racking your car with their doors. Our neighgors could NOT get into their car on the drivers side at all when returning because (they measured it), the car on that side was 4 inches from them - took their mirror right off! They did not have too much room on the other side but, luckily - they have a van so they could pop the back and back it out to load the kids and luggage to be on their way. We only cruised once so far & used the cruise terminal parking after we heard that story - they got back the day we were driving down to FL - being able to just walk to our car and be on our way without waiting for a ride was nice. We plan on using the same parking terminal again this month.
West Coast Posted January 3, 2009 #8 Share Posted January 3, 2009 Is there a less expensive alternative to the pier aprking garage? Many local hotels have reduced rates for 'cruise-n-park' stays.
