Port of miami hotel, shuttles

We are flying in to Miami for a cruise on the Pearl in December 2009. Any ideas or suggestions on a hotel which might also include a free shuttle from the airport and to the port? Has anyone taken a taxi from the port to the airport and what did that cost you? Thanks!

Taxis between MIA and POM are a standard thing -- should be around $24 plus tip.

Clarion Collections Las Palmas Hotel & Suites will pick you up from the airport. They will arrange a shuttle to the pier for $9 per person - you reserve when you check in and they will add it to your hotel bill. Cabs from the pier to the airport are a set fee - $24 last year. We have stayed at the Las Palmas in the past and it is very nice - continental breakfast included. There is a nice Italian restaurant within walking distance. We will be staying there again in about 2 weeks before we board the Jewel.
