From Long Beach to LA Amtrak

Super Shuttle quoted me $50 from Long Beach Cruise Terminal to the Amtrak station in LA. Does anyone have a suggestion for a less expensive way to go? Any estimate of taxi cost? Thanks for any help.

When you make the reservations on Amtrak: Put in from you starting point to Long Beach - NOT Los Angeles.

Amtrak has bus links (their own buses) from LA to Long Beach. We just did that Thanksgiving Day and it ended up costing us $9 pp from Union Station to Long Beach.

PS Amtrak has these bus links in alot of areas, we did that to get to the Oregon coast & back, Daytona Beach, etc. -

Unfortunately, the train to New Orleans does not go until the next day and I've decided to spend the night in LA. On my next cruise we dock the day of the train and I will do that.
