Arcadia delayed in Barcelona?

Hi,

I was on cruise J824. We were supposed to leave Barcelona at 2 am on the 1st but didn't leave until 4:45 pm, almost 15 hours late. Shuttle buses were laid on until 1:30pm with all passengers needing to be aboard by 2 pm. Not many passengers bothered to go back into Barcelona as being New Years day everywhere was closed.

I would much rather have had a day in Vigo instead of £100 compensation. Having a port cut on a cruise is never enjoyable, especially when it's the last port of call.

I was in bed well before 5 am but was woken by the "Alpha Alert" over the tannoy system at 4 am. Seems that a drunken partygoer had fallen down some stairs breaking a limb and had to be taken to hospital in Barcelona.
